May’s digital cover, photographed by Holly McCandless-Desmond and styled by Pav Nagra, creates a story on screen suspended somewhere between a forgotten dressing room and a futuristic dream sequence. Inspired by the graphic intensity of 1960s jewelry campaigns, the editorial translates vintage classic glamour into something very present, attuned to the Zeitgeist. Across each image, shadow and illumination battle for control, revealing fragments of identity living in memory and fantasy. Film noir shadows slice through theatrical spotlighting while sculptural jewelry becomes armor, artifact, and performance all at once. Vintage references dissolve into futuristic stills.
