“I’m sorry for being weird, it’s my first time being alive.”
Kili said it like a confession, or maybe just stating the obvious.
This shoot was never made to be seen. I don’t know if anyone will get it. Maybe they don’t have to.
We didn’t plan much.
We didn’t have a styling team.
No costume. Just the version of himself he decided to be today.
I just asked him to be.
And he was.
The energy shooting this series felt charged, like an unplugged amp buzzing quietly.
There’s this rawness in him, the kind Kurt had:
“static, igniting, collapsing, and breaking better”, refusing to fit any mold.
And maybe that’s why this feels important,
because it’s a glimpse of someone who doesn’t apologize for being themselves, even when the world tells them to.
